Findmypast.co.uk adds fully name searchable marriage indexes for England and Wales fully indexed GRO marriage

Findmypast.co.uk announce the ability to search the England and Wales marriage indexes between 1837–2005 in a single search. The Findmypast search is now of a full nominal index database. It extends the range of dates available through FreeBMD, and means you don't have to search in two segments, pre and post 1915, as with Ancestry.

To the extent the information supplied and the original data permit, the search finds both partners to the marriage with a single search, a facility the company calls MarriageMatchTM

The marriage record indexes are the second phase of FMP's project to fully name index GRO birth, marriage and death records. Fully indexed birth and marriage indexes are now available, fully indexed death records are expected to be online in early 2011.
