Tour of Montreal's Mount Royal Cemetery and Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery

All, including BIFHSGO members, are welcome to join members of the Quebec Family History Society on a tour led by Gary Schroder, long-time president of the Quebec Family History Society on Sunday October 21, 2012 (Rain or Shine - so far the forecast looks promising) starting at 10AM.

Mount Royal Cemetery and Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery are two of the largest cemeteries in Canada, with Notre-Dame-des-Neiges having more than one million people buried there. Both cemeteries opened in the 1850s and are located next to each other on Mount Royal in Montreal.
Bring a packed lunch and $20.00 payable upon arrival. Meet at the front gate of Mount Royal Cemetery, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont. The tour is too extensive for walking, arrange a car with friends. No reservations required.
