Letter on impact of LAC cuts to interlibrary loan

A letter in the Ottawa Citizen from Tom Schwarzkopf ends:

"Celebrate Canada's past, says the government - but only perhaps what they want emphasized (see: War of 1812). Maybe my work on urban transit isn't on everybody's reading list, but much of that story has never been told either. And now, despite the cuts to my most valuable resource, it will. And my publisher will be required to place several copies in the National Library - to gather dust."
