Monday's Civic holiday is named Col By Day in Ottawa. You are invited to stop by the Bytown Museum site, right by the Rideau Canal Locks, where various heritage organization will be gathering .
This year the event is extended with a variety of activities detailed here that include a free beginning genealogy session presented by Mike More at 1pm on Sunday.
