What's new at Findmypast?

Findmypast adds monumental inscription transcriptions, and BMB record transcriptions this week.

Worcestershire Monumental Inscriptions
85,847 transcript records from 178 different parishes.  Transcribed by members of the Birmingham & Midland Society for Genealogy & Heraldry.

Aberdeenshire, Banffshire & Kincardineshire Monumental Inscriptions
21,078 transcript records from 27 different Scottish parishes. Sourced from the Aberdeen & North-East Scotland Family History Society

Middlesex Monumental Inscriptions 1485-2014
10,592 inscriptions from 22 churches, transcripts provided by West Middlesex Family History Society.

Essex Memorial Inscriptions
40,702 new records from 44 new places and improved data for five existing ones, covering Anglican, Roman Catholic, Quaker, and non-conformist, as well as community and war memorials. Transcriptions from the Essex Society for Family History.

Devon Burials
113,264 records added bringing the collection of Devon burials to 2,066,392 records covering 450 years of parish records. Sourced from the Plymouth & West Devon Record Office and the South West Heritage Trust, and including cemetery records from the Devon Family History Society.

Northumberland and Durham Baptisms, Marriages and Burials
Transcripts by the Northumberland and Durham Family History Society added are: 32,000 baptismal records bringing the total to 888,270; 37,023 marriage records, now over 800,000 marriages from over 330 parishes; 20,000 burial records, now totaling 651,210 records.
