Not only did it strike a cord but so did her reactions. I don't have a tree on Ancestry any more but gave some to another person whose tree USED to be open and my photos were taken from hers.UGH!! This...I too sent information to a distant relative. This information was pure speculation on my part which I had made clear to her on the phone before sending it (I thought). Sure enough she posted it on the internet - now the info, which turned out to be wrong, is out there for all to misuse. I have had similar issues where I sent information to a very distant relation in Australia, who agreed in advance that he would never post it on-line, which he did the moment he received the information.
