Unfortunately there is no citation of the source, except mention of "the Public Record Society." That may be the Norfolk Record Society http://norfolkrecordsociety.org.uk/ which advertises a 1971 publication by the same name, and also other other publication worth reviewing if you have deep Norfolk roots.

Thank you for all the info on Norfolk. I was just reviewing research others had done about ancestors from Hempstead by Eccles and Ingham-names such as Rook and Oakley. The link for the poor people in Norwich is of interest just to see the older spellings and occupations. So far our family has only traced back as far as the late 1700's. perhaps we can go back further,now.
