Findmypast.co.uk continues to add new records, the latest being 154,074 burials between 1883 and 2007 from Warwickshire, Key Hill and Warstone Lane. They were provided by the Birmingham and Midland Family History Society in association with the Federation of Family History Societies.
FMP doesn't provide much information about these cemeteries. For those not familiar with the Birmingham area, these are adjacent major burial grounds located northwest of the city centre, just inside the A4540 ring road, with the Jewellery Quarter and a railway line between them.
According to Wikipedia:
Key Hill Cemetery, originally called Birmingham General Cemetery, a Nonconformist (non-denominational) cemetery, is the oldest (not being in a churchyard) in Birmingham, England. It opened on 23 May 1836.
Warstone Lane Cemetery, also called Brookfields Cemetery, Church of England Cemetery, or Mint Cemetery, dates from 1847.
Even if you have a death record for people in your family tree there's something rather satisfying about finding a burial place. These records permit that for some in my non-direct-line relatives.
