Have a lost Irish ancestor who left for Boston, US, from Liverpool, before 1837. Family Bible page said married there, thanks for the clue.
ReplyDeleteJohn,
ReplyDeleteI had the bare bones of my 3XGrandfather’s marriage from a visit to Salt Lake City, but now I have the details, including the Parson’s and witnesses’ names and the then-current spelling of the bride’s name, with more specific source references, from the image of the St. Peter’s Parish Church, Liverpool record.
Many thanks for the lead,
Eric
