Newspapers at the British Library

The British Library’s hard copy newspaper collections are scheduled to move from the current Colindale site to a planned Newspaper Storage Building at Boston Spa in West Yorkshire.
The British Library plan to offer access to the national newspaper collection via microfilm and digitised copies, which will be available for viewing at a dedicated newspaper Reading Room at St Pancras.
The British Library have a proactive communications on their newspaper collection, and are  offering sessions this summer to provide an update on progress made by the Newspaper Moves strategy along with a preview of the service currently being developed for St Pancras.
Canadians envy this open approach from the British Library which contrasts so strongly with Library and Archives Canada's approach.
