Welcoming Genealogy Week participants

Ottawa Genealogy Week starts next Sunday evening, July 10. Organized by the Ottawa Branch of the OGS with the leadership to Mario Lapointe, Genealogy Week is an opportunity for people to further their research with Ottawa-area resources with expert guidance.

To welcome the participants, who are mainly from outside Ottawa, local genealogists are invited to an opening reception next Sunday, 6pm at LAC, with light refreshments served. Expect a couple of surprises, including the opportunity to win a copy of Legacy Family Tree and a two volume set of instructional videos.
