By testing elderly cousins of my parents I have been able to confirm that 3 of my 4 sets of great-grandparents are correct. Testing a second cousin of my mother's confirmed a set of 2xgreat-grandparents.
ReplyDeleteOne cousin tested last spring died just before Christmas. If you have elderly relatives, don't delay asking them if they will provide a DNA sample as a cousin's child will only share half as much DNA with you.
