Governor General Award nominated author Carolyn Abraham reads from her recent book The Juggler’s Children. Nepean Centrepointe Library (Chamber), November 16, 2:00-3:00. Registration required. http://is.gd/wwfs8e
Ottawa British Isles Family History Society of Greater Ottawa (BIFHSGO) member says, "After borrowing "The Juggler's Children" from the library I decided to get a hard cover copy for myself and to give away 2 copies to family members who have done DNA testing. The book is very "readable" and teaches as it tells the story of Carloyn's quest for more knowledge of her family. For a person who is a "humdrum" white Anglo-Saxon Protestant(WASP)as I am, it has expanded my understanding of those people who are of mixed origins."
Carolyn will be speaking about her research to Toronto Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society on February 24. 2014.
