Friday is the start of the BIFHSGO conference so today, Wednesday 16 September, is B - 2 and counting.
In the latest Archive CD Books Canada newsletter Malcolm Moody confirmed that Michael Martin, author of their new CD publication “Working Class Culture and The Development of Hull, Quebec, 1800-1929” will be at the conference marketplace. He will sign copies and answer questions. That's 2:45 to 3:15 pm on Saturday 19th, during the break between sessions 3 and 4.
You don't have to be a registered conference attendee to visit the marketplace.
In addition to the Rockstar Genealogists mentioned yesterday two other conference speakers are on the Canada top ten genealogist list as a result of the Rockstar voting. Chris Paton and Gail Dever will both be speaking on Sunday.
It's too late to register to attend the conference online but walk-in registrants are welcome.
