Ancestry adds UK, Police Gazettes, 1812-1902, 1921-1927

The Police Gazette, in early years also known as Hue and Cry, contains printed publications used for communication between members of the police force in the UK between 1812 and 1927.
Issues are available for the years 1812, 1816, 1828, 1831-2, 1835, 1840, 1843-4, 1846, 1850, 1861-4, 1868, 1870 - 1882, 1889-90, 1894-7, 1899-1902, 1921-2, 1924-7. Within those years the collection is incomplete.
 Look for information on wanted criminals, crimes committed, criminals who had been apprehended, and missing persons.
