RootsTech Streamed Presentations Today

A reminder and more detail about the RootsTech sessions being live-streamed today. To view go to www.rootstech.org/ and click on Watch.

First up, at 10:30: a.m EST is the Thursday General Session, a plenary held in a huge room. The speakers are:
Steve Rockwood, managing director for the Family History Department and President/CEO of FamilySearch International;
Paula Madison, the executive producer and subject of Finding Samuel Lowe: From Harlem to China, a compelling documentary that chronicles her journey to her maternal grandfather’s homeland in China and the reconnection of her family with his 300 descendants;
Bruce Feiler, writes the “This Life" column for the Sunday New York Times and is the author of six consecutive New York Times bestsellers.

At 1 p.m Mike Mansfield, Director of Content Operations for MyHeritage.com presents 7 Unique Technologies for Genealogy Discoveries.

At 3:30 p.m Amy Crow, creator of the popular 52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks blogging challenge, speaks on Best Websites and Apps for Local History

At 5 p.m. Ron Tanner, RootsTech serial presenter and product manager for the Family History Department with responsibilities for Family Tree and companion products, speaks on What's New in Family Tree in 2016

At 6:30 p.m. Joseph Richardson, educator, writer, and consultant who has helped develop many FamilySearch products, including products for FamilySearch indexing will speak on Virtual Family Reunions.
