In addition to the major addition of Irish records highlighted earlier in the week findmypast has updated Lincolnshire baptisms now totaling 1,914,636 records between 1538 and 1911; banns totaling 121,361; marriages totaling 933,866 and burials totaling 1,492,441. You can also browse the 5,383 registers for Lincolnshire which have a total of 4,462,304 records.
For those of us who have lamented the paucity of Norfolk newspapers in the British Newspaper Archives, accessible through findmypast, issues of the Norwich Mercury are now available for 1727, 1846 - 1848, 1854, 1856 - 1860, 1865, 1868 - 1877, 1879 - 1884, 1896, 1899, 1904. According to the British Library catalogue we can look forward to additional issues to fill the gaps in the second half of the 19th century with the exception of the first half of 1898.

Interestingly I was using an example from the Lincolnshire Parish Records for a Dear MYRTLE Study group this week and the changes made at Find My Past were noted. This helped us illustrate the importance of including an access date for any citations.
I will also be using the Norwich Mercury to help with my Norfolk research so happy to see this update.
