"Long before the term “Hollywood North” came to reflect the growing importance of an emerging film industry in Canada, Ottawa was home to a movie institution of great importance. Crawley Films of Ottawa and its colourful and often controversial owner, producer, director, writer and camera aficionado Frank Redford Crawley blazed a trail for Canadian cinema unlike any other in their time. This is their story."Meeting place is Routhier Community Centre, 172 Guigues Street
