University of Ottawa Archives turns 50

An article in the University of Ottawa Gazette contains a few images that may be of interest to those with a U of O connection. The university itself traces back to the first College of Bytown (1848).

Congratulations to the Archives and Michel Prévost, the university Chief Archivist, a valued member of the local heritage community who will be helping celebrate March as Francophonie month.

These days the university is in the midst of construction of Ottawa's LRT system which will improve accessibility when completed in 2018.
