Paul Henry Interviewed on re-interments from the Barrack Hill Cemetery

Highly recommended for those with an interest in Ottawa history, a thoughtful and wide ranging discussion on The History Slam podcast from ActiveHistory.ca with host Sean Graham and City of Ottawa archivist Paul Henry.
It covers the effort to identify the individuals whose remains were disturbed by LRT construction through the old Barrack Hill Cemetery, funeral practices before the Victorian age, and how spatial meaning is altered with changes to the physical landscape.
It is #107 in the podcast series. A note to individuals and organizations that may be looking to make donations toward year's end, Active History is a not-for-profit, entirely volunteer-run project that has thrived over the last eight years thanks to a community of readers and contributors and is able to issue charitable receipts for donations over $20.
