Although my research doesn't normally lead me into US government websites it did this past weekend, and I was faced with this webpage from the US National Archives and Records Administration.
Dick Eastman has
a list of some of the services closed by the President's shutdown.
Grandson was in Arizona hiking in National Parks over the new year. The gates were open but no services were offerred. Those poor people. I was worried about rescue if they got lost but thankfully they were fine. Cheers, BT
