30% favoured "An annual multi-day conference with a variety of talks in parallel sessions"
30% responded "A multi-day conference on a less than annual basis with frequent one-day themed seminars throughout the year."
23% answered "No preference, I'll take advantage of whatever's on offer"
17% preferred "Several one-day themed seminars throughout the year."
My interpretation is that people like conferences although they need not be on an annual basis. More people want one-day themed seminars especially if organized in a overall program that includes an annual or less frequent conference.
The sample was small, 47 responses.
