Pipers are scary. We went to the Glengarry games this year and there were at least 500 of them marching across the field. I would have run away from them too if they started to follow me. The Scots knew what they were about when they went to war. Shades of William Wallace.
That was great !!! I loved seeing when they were on the carousel! The first time I heard the pipes en mass was also at the Glengarry games, years ago, and it absolutely scared the heck out of me. I was standing in blazing sun, with the temperature about 93F, and having chills! Like Lynne :-) I had had no clear idea until that moment that bagpipes were instruments of war! Cheers, BT
