Genealogy Websites Benchmark Update for October

September's surprise downwards trend in popularity of many genealogy websites, according to Alexa, continued in October. Top ranked genealogy site ancestry.com dropped from ranking 455th overall at the end of August, to 534th at the end of September and now 645th. While a few site ecked out improvements none were in the top 100,000 in rank.

Here, for the record, are the results, remembering that a positive trend in the table indicates an improvement in popularity.
