It seems like every second day LAC announces a new topical set of historic images becoming available on Flickr. On Wednesday it was 30 images from D Day.
For a $100 million organization 30 images is pretty thin gruel. As one tweet during the Canadian Library Association conference put it, they should be dealing in terabytes, not a few tens of images.
However, hats off to the communications group for making the best of a sad effort.

I find it interesting that they are showing-off their images, but none appear to be new...they're all available in their Archives search, their Image search, and now, the same images are also available in the new Portrait site...but with less information and you can't even enlarge the images...how much did they spend on that piece of cr*p?
