The regular Friday additions to the Findmtpast collection this week are:

Isle of Man, Births and Baptisms, 1821-1911 with 52,143 records
Channel Islands, Births and Baptisms, 1820-1907 with 41,645 records for Castel, Forest, Herm,
Newtown, St Andrew, St Helier, St Martin, St Peter, St Peter Port, St Pierre Du Bois, St Sampson, St Saviour, Torteval, Trinity, Vale.
The company is making a major push to add Irish Newspapers. 9 new titles are the Connaught Watchman, Galway Mercury, Dublin Morning Register, Statesman, Westmeath Journal, Kerry Examiner, Limerick and Clare Examiner, Journal of the Chemico – Agricultural Society of Ulster and Allnut’s Land Schedule -- over 884,000 new articles. Significant additions to existing titles include over 103,000 new articles from the Northern Whig, over 80,000 from the Waterford Mail and over 65,000 from the Tipperary Free Press.
In a new year blog post Findmypast announce
Millions of new records from across the globe including Australia, New Zealand and the US, available as part of a world subscription.No mention of Canada. The company has apparently given up on any hope of being competitive on Canadian records. The address findmypast.ca immediately forwards to findmypast.com.

No wonder FMP) has abandoned Canada as the Fed govt has viciously cut Library and Archives Canada (LAC) and delayed, then sold the 1921 census to a private company. No records are of much worth to this government, it appears.
