The FreeBMD Database was updated on Thursday 25 December 2014 to contain 243,519,549 distinct records. Major additions, more than 5,000 records are: for births 1940, 1943, 1958, 1962, 1964, 1966, 1970-74; for marriages 1952, 1966, 1968, 1970-75; for deaths 1971-73.
