From the University of British Columbia BC Historical Newspapers is a collection of more than 30 different digitized and searchable weekly newspapers published from 1887-1995, mainly from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This blog post describes the collection content as "Facebook for a century that didn’t have the internet."
