The Canadian Virtual War Memorial records the deaths of 370 members of the Canadian Forces on 7 November.

158 died in 1917; their names are here;

139 died in Belgium during the final stages of the Third Battle of Ypres (Second Battle of Passchendaele);
106 were serving with the Infantry;
69 with no known grave are commemorated at the Menin Gate at Ypres;
14 were serving with the 28th Battalion, the most of any unit.
