John Speed's early 17th century maps online

If you like old maps take a look at the Cambridge Digital Library online edition of one of five known sets of proof maps prepared for John Speed's Theatre of the Empire of Great Britaine, which was published in 1611/12.

All 66 maps are now viewable in the Cambridge Digital Library

These are just a small part of the collection at the Cambridge Digital Library freely available online including documents by Newton, Darwin and files of the Board of Longitude.
