Is Ancestry's well running dry?

Sutton, Surrey, England, Water Rate Books, 1868-1911, with 132,935 entries, is the sole new British (or Irish) database added at Ancestry so far this month. There's been no new database added to the Canadian collection since March. Even the US collection has only seen two new databases this month.
Are new databases that meet Ancestry's criteria for inclusion increasingly hard to find, or is perhaps investment being diverted to DNA?

Ancestry still has a deep well full of information into which I suspect many will never fall.
