LAC Focus Groups

Did you get one of these emails from Renee Harden, Director General of LAC's Communications Branch?

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) has retained Nanos Research to conduct qualitative research. You are invited to share your views in a focus group setting.  The focus groups will be between 90 and 120 minutes in duration and will take place in Ottawa. Your views will assist LAC in fulfilling its mandate to acquire, preserve, and provide access to Canada’s documentary heritage by helping LAC plan for the future.

All the views you share with Nanos will not be attributed but grouped in the report for analytical purposes. Likewise, you should consider this project and the issues discussed confidential.
Over the next few days you will be contacted by Nanos in regards to your participation in this very important project.
If you have any questions about the project, please feel free to contact Cheryl McIntyre (LAC) or the senior researcher on the project, Nik Nanos, at nnanos@nanosresearch.com.
Thank you, in advance, for your support in making this outreach a success.
Librarian and Archivist of Canada Guy Berthiaume had mentioned such consultations were coming, saying at that time there would be one dedicated to genealogy interest.

Thanks to Ann Burns for the tip.
