I love this show! Wonder what makes it controversial?
I believe the controversy stems from an episode re: Ben Affleck's ancestry, in which the producers, and Gates, a renown black Harvard academic, 'whitewashed' Affleck's background, i.e., there was a slave owner in Afflek's ancestry which he did not want exposed. Possibly this was the controversy that took it off the air for some time.
