The UK National Archives announce "changes", mostly increases, effective 1 February 2016.
Service | 01-Feb-16 | Previous | Increase % |
---|---|---|---|
Digital download from nationalarchives.gov.uk | £3.45 | £3.30 | 5 |
Self-serve copying in the reading rooms | £0.30 | £0.25 | 20 |
Research per 15 min | £27.30 | £25 | 9 |
Some of the other fees remain unchanged, but it appears TNA is not finding ways to be more efficient. Given Moore's Law how does TNA possibly justify the increase for digital downloads when fees are supposed to be revenue neutral?
