OGS Ottawa Branch January Meeting

On Saturday, January 23rd from 1:00pm-3:00pm, Stephen Morin will be sharing the story of “Alex Potvin and the Ottawa Fire Department.” Learn about Alex’s heroic career from 1892-1936 as one of the earliest members of the Ottawa Fire Brigade and Ottawa's first Fire Inspector.Ottawa Branch

In the morning from 10:30am-12:00pm the “Genealogy: Back To Basics” session has invited Romaine Honey to talk about Ottawa Public Library resources.

All are welcome, both events are FREE and will be held at the City of Ottawa Archives, 100 Tallwood Drive (Room 115).
