Ancestry adds UK, Post Office World War I and World War II Memorial Books, 1914-1945

Thankfully this is a small collection as they go — 25,864 entries. The source is https://gpowarheroes.org.uk/

The information is scant: initial(s) and last name, military date, employment place, service branch, war, unit, identification number.

Unless the name is uncommon it's unlikely to be sufficient to find the person in the Commonwealth War Graves Commission records.

Yay - I already have this (and contributed extra details) entry for my great-uncle, Alfred Henry Spong (1892-1916), but it will be nice to add it directly to his Ancestry profile.
