Past is Present: Using Digital Resources to Find Your Family's First World War History
Presented by Caitlin Bailey, Curator and Executive Director of the Canadian Centre for the Great War, and the Executive Director of the Vimy Foundation, with many years of experience researching Canadian First World War Personnel.
While publicly available, First World War records are spread over multiple agencies, in multiple countries and often hard to understand. During her presentation, Caitlin will familiarize participants with where to look, who to ask for help, and how to get the most out of the information available to reconstruct the often fascinating stories of your family during the First World War.
This event is free for MEMBERS of the Quebec Family History Society. Members, please email qfhs@bellnet.ca in advance to join this presentation.
The cost for NON-MEMBERS is $10.00 CAD. Please sign up by making your payment through the Store at www.qfhs.ca
