Following yesterday’s announcement that we are suspending our reading room service, in line with new national restrictions, we are pleased to announce that we’re doubling the monthly limit on downloading free digital records from our website, from 50 to 100.
This service, made free in response to the restrictions earlier in the year, has been very popular with online researchers around the world, with more than 84,000 people downloading around 1.1m documents to date

Thank you a million times! I'm in the states. There has been entirely too much drama here for the past 4 years. I don't see the next four being peaceful. I can loose myself in the UK from my rural home here.
