Free Access to Military Records

Until midnight (GMT?) on Sunday Findmypast.co.uk has all of their military records completely free, with registration.  That includes:

• Comprehensively detailed British Army Service Records dating from 1760-1939
• Prisoner of War records 1715-1945, in partnership with the National Archives
• Royal Navy & Royal Marines Service and Pension Records
• Royal Air Force Airmen & Officer Service Records, 1912-1939
• Napoleonic War Records, 1775-1817, helping you take your military research back further.

Ancestry is will be opening their military records for free access, with registration, for four days starting on Friday.
