"Great Moments in Genealogy" sharing greatest achievements, dismal failures and lessons learned in family history research is the topic for the 18 November meeting of The Quinte Branch of Ontario Genealogical Society. Also, the election of Officers for 2018.

As usual, the meeting is at Quinte West Public Library, 7 Creswell Dr, Trenton from 1 to 3 pm.
Note that the Branch has completed the 1867 Canadian Ancestors project, a memorial historical directory of ancestors who were residents in what is now present day Canada in the year of Confederation. With contributions of 46 Branch members, former members, and friends of Quinte Branch, received from across Canada and from several States in the USA, the document contains 1,069 pages, and 1,236 family surnames are documented.
