Find My Past has the UK outgoing passenger lists from 1890-1960, which almost matches the timeframe for this collection. To the extent that the ships left from a UK port, you may be able to narrow things down to a particular ship and sailing, and then find the matching incoming passenger list in these records. Since they often contain additional information, I like “bookending” my immigrants by getting both the outgoing and the incoming passenger lists. The names of some of these ships are familiar ones, so I would expect a reasonable proportion of them did leave from UK ports.

Your post is a reminder that we should once again approach LAC about acquiring the post-1935 passenger lists that are in the custody of the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship as well as the naturalization files that are held by the same agency, some of the latter dating from the late 1910s, 1920s and later.
