Congratulations to all the silver and bronze medallists but why are you only counting votes from people who live in the countries concerned? I voted for a number of rockstar genealogists in America and Australia, all of whom I've heard speak through the wonders of the internet (Rootstech, SCGS Jamboree, etc) and sometimes in person when they've crossed the Atlantic to talk at WDYTYA Live. It would have been nice to have my votes counted!

I am honoured to find myself on the list and am feeling elated that I received a gong.

Thanks, John. for organising this activity once again. It is great fun and does a lot to highlight genealogy downunder to people upover.

Congratulations to all these great genealogists especially our Aussies, Judy Webster and Jill Ball. What a great deal they all contribute to how we learn and understand our favourite obsession, family history.
