First Announcement: BIFHSGO Conference 2019

The brochure for the 25th-anniversary annual BIFHSGO conference became available at Gene-O-Rama. With theme Family History: Past, Present, Future, it's a bit different from previous years with an all-star lineup of international speakers on Saturday and Sunday, 28-29 September.

Blaine Bettinger PhD, JD, is a professional genealogist specializing in DNA evidence. He is the author of the long-running blog The Genetic Genealogist, and frequently gives presentations and webinars to educate others about the use of DNA to explore their ancestry.
Audrey Collins is a spokesperson for The National Archives, where she is a Records Specialist in Family History. She has written extensively on family history and has special expertise with the UK censuses. Audrey regularly speaks at events and conferences in the UK, Ireland and the USA.
Cyndi Ingle, a genealogist for over 38 years, is the creator of the award-winning and globally recognized Cyndi’s List (cyndislist.com). She is an expert in using technology for genealogy, research in the USA, and bringing together traditional methodology with organization, computers, software, and the Internet. An internationally known guest lecturer, she is the author of numerous articles and three books.
Nancy E. Loe, MA, MLS, is a genealogy researcher and educator. After a long career in libraries and archives, Nancy now writes at Sassy Jane Genealogy and lectures frequently at US and international genealogy conferences on her specializations: organizing research and US and European records.
